Besides clinical endodontic work, Gaurav has a keen interest in academics and mentoring and has been associated with a few different universities with adjunct teaching appointments over the past many years including the University of Queensland and James Cook University. His primary focus remains with his patients that he believes is the most fulfilling and satisfying aspect of his profession. Dr Vasudeva’s initial graduation was from India in year 2000. From there he went on to gain his specialist masters’ degree in Endodontics that was further 3 years of specialist training. He was awarded a diplomate membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (UK) in the specialist field of Endodontics and is currently part of their faculty of dental trainers.
Dr. Vasudeva has a special interest in the management of oro-facial pain, dental trauma, complex root canal therapy, re-treatments and using newer technologies like CBCT in diagnosis and treatment planning. Gaurav believes in the relationship that exists between general and oral health and how maintaining optimal oral health that is free of disease contributes towards better general health.
