Dr. Hui Lau is a registered specialist orthodontist. Hui was accepted at the University of Melbourne with a scholarship to study Bachelor of Dental Science, graduating with Honours in 2007. After graduation, she spent four years working at multiple private practices and government dental health services in Melbourne, providing care to patients from all walks of life. Hui then moved to Perth to commence a three-year full-time specialty training and obtained her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) from the University of Western Australia. She also completed her research evaluating the impact of growth and orthodontic treatment on the lips. Hui specialises in child and adult orthodontics including Invisalign, functional appliances, skeletal anchorage assisted orthodontics and surgical orthodontic cases. She is dedicated to deliver excellent care and consistently strives to achieve best treatment outcome for all of her orthodontic patients. Hui is registered as an Orthodontic Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia and is certified by the Australasian Orthodontic Board. She is also an active member of local and international societies, including the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists and Australian and New Zealand Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently the Recent Graduate Representative for the Australian Society of Orthodontists (Western Australia branch). When she’s not working, Hui and her husband, Bryant, enjoys socialising with friends, cooking and traveling.
